Kris Wilms Founder and Director of ‘Imagine Act Achieve’

Consultant, Facilitator and Trainer:

Kris began her career as one of Australia’s first female career firefighters. With over 20 years experience working in emergency service and defence environments, Kris’s background marries operational experience with an established history of training personnel for a diverse range of emergency response and management situations. With training and qualifications in the psychoanalytic study of organisations, this combination supports an ability to train, coach and mentor, and to lead personnel through a wide range of challenging circumstances.

The combination of a Masters degree in Organisation Dynamics, together with a diverse and challenging work history support achievement as a consultant. Kris demonstrates a proven aptitude for communicating with members of organisations in individual or group settings, and being able to engage with people from varied backgrounds, enhancing her abilities as a facilitator.
Kris has established leadership abilities, including experience and practice in command and control, and a proven ability to lead and manage personnel under pressure and in emergency and life threatening situations. 

Particular strengths include extensive experience in all aspects of training delivery and development.  This is supported by qualifications and emergency operational experience resulting in proficiency in a diverse range of areas including, emergency response, investigative experience, peer and welfare support and personnel development and management.  With a work ethic that results in excellence, she is experienced mentor, an accomplished, versatile and confident public speaker, and adaptable to working with a wide range of clients under diverse conditions.
